Luxury electric cars or Luxury EVs aren’t limited to Tesla alone. This 2021, it seems like Tesla won’t really dominate the market as other brands are also coming in hot when it comes to luxury EVs. While Tesla might have been the top contender in EVs back then (luxury or not), there are a lot of competitors now.

What are the best electric vehicles on the market?

As of the moment, Tesla seems to be the public’s favorite choice. This could be due to the fact that Tesla single handedly was able to stick up to other gasoline or diesel powered cars head to head and in places like California last year, the EV has finally become a top contender.

While Tesla is expanding to other countries aside from the US, it seems like other automobile companies are trying to compete with the all powerful Tesla. Here are a few of the competing companies with their own versions of luxury EVs.

1. Mercedes-Benz EQC

259 miles per charge

2. Jaguar I-Pace

220 miles per charge

Luxury electric cars 2021 show just how far we’ve come when it comes to electric cars in general. Gone were the days when electric cars would only cater to a niche market. Nowadays, electric cars also cater to the mainstream audience and upper class markets themselves.

With luxury EVs now popping out, this shows that electric cars are able to compete with conventional cars even when it comes to luxury. Luxury electric car companies are popping out left and right as people are starting to invest in making luxury electric cars a thing of the future.

What’s the most expensive electric car?

The 2020 Aston Martin Rapide E can go as high as $255,000 USD.

LUCID is one of the companies that is trying to compete face to face with Elon Musk’s Tesla. However, the company has yet to come out with a commercial electric vehicle for the public themselves to be the judge.

While there are big claims by other companies like LUCID or even Volkswagen regarding how they plan to take on Tesla, this has yet to be seen as the electric carmaker is still making headlines left and right.
